The ideal size for a scrummy slice of cake or naughty treat with your cuppa. Each of these handmade side plates have been thrown on the wheel.
The edge has been brushed with wax to resist the glaze when dipped. This gives a lovely natural feel to the plates and gives any table a bit of added rustic charm. My handmade tableware is fired in a gas kiln which brings out the natural iron speckle in these side plates.
All my plates are now made with a flat base instead of the previous foot ring design. This is giving a smoother eating surface and they load nicer into a dishwasher. They are made the same size as previous version so will still stack together if the styles are mixed.
