Could your table do with a little decoration to brighten up dinner times?
We have a rather wild garden and not much in the way of traditional buds you might put in these little vases. As the herbs are currently in flower I chose some thyme , oregano and rosemary to fill the mini bud vases.
I think it would actually be nice to have these on the table all the time, or even next to the cooker to use while cooking - it would save a walk to the garden. I imagine this would be the type of thing an upmarket cafe with Edison light bulbs might put on their tables.
The buddleia is never short of flowers so I grabbed one of those for the standard bud vases. The butterflies still have plenty to go at. If you don't have access to a garden, these bud vases would work with dried or artificial plants.
