Our house has recently made the switch from liquid soap to bars. Apart from using less plastic bottles it also works out a lot cheaper - that makes me happy.
I designed the soap dishes with a deep spiral in the base. This lets the water drain away from the bar to maintain a firm base on the soap. The dish is made circular on the wheel and then two sides are lifted up while the clay is soft. This means it should fit comfortably on most sink edges.
