Each utensil jar is lovingly crafted from speckled stoneware on my potter's wheel, right here in my little studio near Sheffield. It takes a fair bit of coaxing – a knuckle pull here, a gentle lift there – to get all that lovely clay just so. Fired in my trusty gas kiln at the bottom of the garden, the reduction firing works its magic, bringing out that beautiful iron speckle that electric kilns just can't replicate.
