Egg Cup

It looks pretty. Everyone needs pretty stuff, right? What better way to start the day than some beautifully cooked eggs in these with buttery toast on the side?

I used to make egg cups in a perfectly straight shape. I now choose to embrace this irregular style though the top is crafted to a perfect level circle to hold the egg nicely.

These egg cups are wheel thrown from such a small lump of clay only the finger tips are needed to form the shape. The beautifully unique speckle pattern comes from firing in a gas reduction kiln to over 1200°C.

Currently only available in white.  Best suited for serving medium sized eggs.
